For freight forwarders, agentes aduanales and customs brokers
Bordia takes the repetitive work off your team. It reads and cross-checks every document and fills the paperwork, so mismatches are caught early and your people handle more shipments.
Reads what your clients already send
Coming next: Excel files, and CFDI XML on WhatsApp and email.
46 boxes on the Carta Porte and 48 on the invoice. 18,400 kg on the B/L and 18,900 kg on the packing list. A small difference, found at the border, means a held truck, a container sitting at the port, a B/L amendment or a fine.
Bordia does the reading, checking and typing. A person makes the decisions.
Clients and carriers send PDFs and photos on WhatsApp or email, in Spanish or English. Bordia assigns each one to its shipment.
It reads every value, checks every document against every other one and shows where each value came from. When something doesn't match, it asks the sender.
The pedimento, the MVE and the US entry, filled from the values every document agrees on.
Your agente aduanal or customs broker reviews, approves and files with their own software.
Two containers of machinery from Felixstowe to Veracruz. The draft B/L has the wrong weight, and the freight invoice is missing.
Demo: companies, people and numbers are fictional.
Bordia catches a wrong weight on the B/L and a missing freight invoice before the ship arrives, and the customs broker approves with a record of every check.
For the owner, the ops lead and the agente aduanal who signs.
For the person who signs
Since 1 January 2026, Mexico's customs law makes the agente aduanal liable even for wrong data the client sent. [4] [5] Bordia keeps every document and a record of what was checked and who approved it: evidence of due diligence.
It lowers the risk. It doesn't remove legal liability.
For the ops lead
More than 70% of forwarding and logistics staff spend at least a quarter of their day on tasks such as chasing documents and emails. [6] Bordia reads each document once, fills the drafts (pedimento, MVE, US entry) and only asks a person when something needs a decision.
For your clients
Clients and carriers keep sending photos and PDFs the way they do now, on WhatsApp or email, in Spanish or English. Bordia assigns each one to its shipment and asks the sender when something is missing. No new app for anyone outside your team.
Truck, sea and air; into and out of Mexico; Mexico and the US first, then more countries. Clients notice the tools you use: in a 2021 survey by FreightWaves and Logixboard, which sells visibility software to forwarders, 45% of shippers had stopped working with a forwarder because another one offered better technology. 1 November 2026 – 15 January 2027
Mexico's electronic value declaration becomes mandatory for every import, phased in by regime between 1 November 2026 and 15 January 2027. [7] Bordia gathers the value documents (invoice, freight, insurance, proof of payment) and checks that the MVE matches the pedimento.

Bordia prepares; the agente aduanal or customs broker approves and files with their own software. In a 2025 survey by Magaya and Adelante SCM, 41% of forwarders named errors or compliance violations among their concerns about AI. [9] That's why a person signs every filing.
It prepares the data and the drafts. Filing stays with the licensed person, in their own customs software.
Messages to clients and files to the broker wait for a person until you choose otherwise.
Each value shows the document it came from.
Every agency's shipments, documents and messages are kept separate from everyone else's.

No. Bordia prepares the data and the drafts; the licensed customs broker reviews them and files with their own software. Bordia never files on its own.
No. Bordia catches mismatches before they reach customs and keeps a record of every check, which lowers the risk. The licensed person still decides, signs and answers for the filing.
No. Your broker keeps their software. Bordia hands over a draft with every value and the document it came from, ready to enter.
Imports into and exports from Mexico, by truck, sea and air, and the US side for shipments that cross into the US. More countries will follow, led by the lanes our partners use most.
Yes. Bordia checks that the invoice, freight, insurance and proof of payment are in the file and agree, adds freight and insurance when the Incoterm needs them, and checks that the MVE matches the pedimento, for the broker to file.
No. It gives them a file that's already been checked, so they spend their time on decisions, not on retyping. The broker always signs.
Bordia notes where it found each value and names the values it isn't sure of. A reading it isn't sure of goes to a person to confirm.
Mexican Spanish and US English, in the app and in its messages. It reads documents in either.
